Municipal Park

Great fields! Great stands for viewers! Amazing set up of park!

Aside from the occasional drug deal, restroom fight involving high schoolers, and a random vagabond standing by the bench watching your kids play it’s a pretty neat little park. The turf is a big plus so it’s perfect for toddlers. The breeze is great, plenty of Sun and the close proximity to PD headquarters quells the previous concerns to a certain extent. Plenty of grassy fields nearby also.

Newer playground equipment with fake grass surface and a smaller, older playground behind with mulch. Two normal swings, one accessible swing (with a broken latch), and one tandem swing. Only two benches along one side of the park, plus one covered picnic bench. Good amount of grass surrounding the playgrounds, with a few trees. No shade on playgrounds. Small bathroom building. Plenty of parking

2 playgrounds: 1 for up to 4 years old and in bad shape, need some maintenance… 1 up to 12 years old brand new!!! The police department is just in front, so it’s very safe lol

The playground equipment needs a cosmetic touch up, as you can tell, things look weathered and outdated. I really like how low one of the play structures is, it is perfect for younger/smaller toddlers. And then the other one is perfect for bigger children. If the equipment was newer or touched up I would have given 5 stars because this is a great playground.
