This is a really interesting place. You open a tab and get a card. That card gives you access to self-serve beer dispensers with about a dozen craft beers to choose from. You pay by the oz so, on your first visit, you can take a small taste from each of the beers. Food is ordered from the QR code on the table. That gives you access to the menu and on-line ordering. A waiter brings your food to you shortly. The food is quite creative -- I had the basic burger and fries and that's what it was. My wife had the 'Don Elote' gourmet hot dog and, even though she is a very picky eater, she loved it. In my opinion, the hot dogs are the way to go here. One of our party had the Mac & Cheese and really like it. One of our people had the steak on the stone grill. If you get this, don't start eating the steak as soon as it is served. It will be mostly raw and needs to cook on the stone grill a short while until it is done to your taste. All in all, we had a great experience here. We've been here 3 times and will come back again. Highly recommended.

Came here on a Tuesday with our son. The staff were super friendly and helpful as it was our first time here. We made a special trip because its so rare to find a brewery in Puerto Rico with diverse food options (I'm vegetarian, my husband is NOT, and our son is 5.) I tried the vegetarian sampler (sorry family Im not sharing) my husband had a steak and despite there being a kids menu (so cool) my son wanted a hotdog. All of our food came out promptly and was delicious. I like that there were vegan dipping sauces, for example. The steak came on a hot plate that let my husband sear it to perfection. We couldn't be happier with our experience and encourage other tourists to make the journey. Its so worth it. Can't want to return!

We enjoyed the hot stone concept of cooking your own steak and the self-pour beer option, but food is a bit pricey and the beer is definitely overpriced.

Takabrú is a paradise for craft-beer lovers. Here, you’re your own bartender: simply register, grab your glass, and pour the beer yourself straight from the taps. Each one has a screen showing the name, style, and price per ounce, so you can sample different flavors and control the exact amount. A unique and super fun experience! And even though the system is self-serve, the human touch makes all the difference. Our server Rafael was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations to make the experience perfect. Thanks to him we quickly understood the process and felt right at home. 💯

I went here with my wife, sister and brother in-law since they have a pretty good selection of beer but the IPA was the beer of choice. Which you can sample all of them before you pick the one you want. You get a card and swipe the one you would like and this measures the amount you take and sends the charge to the card, which you pay the total when you are done. They are also known for steaks cooked on a volcanic Stonegrill right at your table, nobody did that. I decided on the "Cheesy Burger" and fries which was a little to heavy on the mozzarella y queso crema (mozzarella and cream cheese) it was the dominate flavor, but the burger was good. My sister and brother in-law split the chicken wings and Avocado Sliders and my wife had Chicken Alcapurrias (a fritter made from mashed plantains and stuffed with chicken) with sweet potato fries . Over all a good place to eat and have a beer and the prices are not bad for what we had.
