I decided to do one of the activities on my bucket list- visit La Jolla Cove in San Diego. There’s been so much rave on social media about the sea lions and all that. I don’t know if it was bad timing, but the sea lions were taking a nap when I visited. Waited a little bit for some action but it was a no-show. I was on a time crunch and had to head back to LA same day. So I’ll advise you also check other social media if you wanna see the sea lions in action.

Absolutely excellent place. Beautiful views and a calm atmosphere. Had a chance to see sea lions in the wild up close, which made the experience even more special. Definitely a must-visit spot. 🌊🦭

A must-visit, especially if you love animals. For a European, it’s honestly amazing to be able to see and even swim in the water just a few meters from sea lions. The nature and scenery are incredible, making this one of the absolute must-dos in San Diego.

The smell of fish is immediate due to feeding Sea Lions but the experience swimming with Sea Lions out weighs that. My daughter really enjoyed herself. The Sea Lions will swim towards the shore. Experience of a life time.

Visited La Jolla Cove with my family and had an amazing time! The area is absolutely beautiful with stunning ocean views and lots of sea lions and seals lounging around. There is a bit of a fishy smell at first because of the wildlife, but you get used to it quickly—and the scenery is definitely worth it. It’s a perfect spot to stop, explore, and enjoy the coastline. While walking through town, we found BoBBoi Natural Gelato, and it was honestly the best gelato we’ve ever had! Highly recommend grabbing a scoop while strolling around La Jolla. Overall, a wonderful family-friendly place to visit!
