Great atmosphere, casual and very nice room. Drinks were grear, tried the Rye and Reynolds. Burger was great along with loaded fries. Fennel and Peach Salad was another winner.

First experience at Black Barrel Tavern after an amazing time at EDC Beyond Wonderland 🐰. Thank you Ashlee and Adam 👏 for taking us to this great Chicago spot! The drinks were delicious, strong (I remember a comment about the espresso martini was so strong, a great wake me up!), and the atmosphere was relaxed with a great selection of food items on their menu. The manager and staff of the Black Barrel Tavern were so friendly, welcoming, while also providing great customer service. The Black Barrel Tavern an incredible place to wind down, chill, and take in the refreshing brisk wind of Chicago. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food never missed here! Tons of great options always. The chilaquiles and omelette were incredible. Would definitely come back and could not highly recommend this spot enough.

Great selection of casual American food, including burgers, pastas, meats, salads, and more! The service was great and both outdoor/indoor seating. The black barrel burger was delicious and juicy. Ahi tuna club sandwich was a unique blend of turmeric and cumin seasonings. Overall would highly recommend for a casual, quick meal!

Solid brunch with many options. The breakfast tacos and burrito weren’t that extraordinary but I enjoyed our meal overall. Corn tortillas weren’t fresh, it could’ve used more seasoning overall, but I liked the guacamole. I liked the atmosphere especially, but was annoyed that the servers kept trying to take away our food and plates prematurely. I think if I were to come back I’d get the lunch food over the breakfast food, it looks more appetizing.
