(from Google)We had an amazing time at The Living Room. The food was absolutely amazing!! And our waitress Karissa was phenomenal. Every choice that she suggested was so delicious. She was such a sweet person and i hope to have her again when i come back.
We made reservations through open table so no waiting. Our party was here for brunch and loved everything! Huge variety for mimosas. We got the beignets and carrots bread to share so good. This is a leisurely paced atmosphere, fantastic service.
This is a beautiful place with a very funky vibe. The hostess must have seen this reaction before, because she was so very welcoming and friendly that we HAD to come back for dinner. ...and that was our mistake. Dinner was crazy busy and the waitress, Carisa I think, was so done by the time we showed up. She said she would be back with water and was MIA for about 10 minutes. When she did get our drink and app order, she was pleasant enough, but the dirty martini came with an olive and brine in a separate glass from the gin. The drinks were good, but the buffalo cauliflower was just deep fried with very little buffalo sauce - and only the tiniest drizzle of blue cheese on the bottom of the plate! The smoked pork chop was overwhelmingly smoke flavored.... no other seasonings, just waaaay too much smoke. My wife's gnocchi with shrimp had a bunch of shrimp, but again, it was super bland with very little flavor. If you really like eating but you despise flavor, this is the place for you!
I had a wonderful Sunday brunch here. The atmosphere as I walked in was very intriguing and the ambiance of this place is definitely something different from other places in Wesley Chapel. As I walked in I was greeted, and may I note this is a place where having a reservation may be beneficial so you do not wait long. However I chose to sit at the bar so I could get served right away. Daniel the bartender was friendly, attentive and great with recommendations. It was cold rainy and windy so I started with an espresso martini & beignets, followed by a croissant B.E.C for my entree. The sandwich was so good and the potatoes were seasoned just perfect. The Living Room will absolutely see me again.
Walking to the place I noticed that there was a nice bar with outdoor eating... Walked in and was greeted by the server and the manager (which is very different). We were seated and given our menus and was given suggestions on their signature cocktails. Ordered our drinks and he took our order. My drink, Pear of Aces, was very citrusy and very good. The manager came by and was very intentive and got us a bottle of water and poured the water into our glasses. Thumbs up to the manager, geesh I wish more restaurants were like this. Our food came in and I got me a NY strip medium rare, scallops, and yuka. Needless to say, I didn't need no steak sauce, and everything was so delicious. Gnocchi and macaroni pasta was also ordered with my family... The manager also suggested I try the Espresso Martini... Damn that was really good. We ended the night with a pistachio tiramisu cake which was a 9 5 out of 10. All in all the service, food, and atmosphere was a great 9.5 out of 10. Great job to the manager (Elena I believe) and my server Flavio. Two thumbs up and can't wait to try another dish
