Petco Grooming

Went to have my dogs nails clipped. Tanya was the first person who actually clipped her nails just the right length. Very happy with that!

We brought our 2 dogs to have their nails trimmed and had no issues previously. As a rescue we were then shocked when the groomers said there was now a mandatory "check" on the dog prior to the nails. We explained that they are fine when restrained but are protective of us and get spooked if u just randomly grab at their paws. Most small dogs have this issue. One groomer just snapped at us then stormed away. We were being honest and open and the dogs were not just a little upset by her grabbing at them. These are rescues and they just need patience. The second groomer then said hang on... took a bit of time... but finally came back and said she would try one. It was easy and done. 2nd dog was now very agitated but she was patient and it took no more than 5m to trim his. Other groomer pouted the whole time and manager helped ZERO. I don't know the name of this 3rd woman who groomed but she saved this experience - she deserves 5 stars but the other 2 under zero. Was stressful for the dogs and that made me stressed and upset and no apologies from others even though the dogs were exactly as we told them they would be - easy if just on the grooming table...

Tanya is AMAZING! She did such a great job on my German shep mix! Beyond pleased with this experience.

Took my mini poodle here for the first time yesterday for a last minute bath, cut, nails etc. and I’m blown away! Regina, an apprentice, took care of us from the first call to my girls care, and it’s the best cut she has had! She looks and smells amazing and they truly took care of her. They call 15 min before they are done in order to limit the time in the kennel. ❤️ just great! Will be back for sure. Petco please hire Regina!! Ideally hat this location. 😉

We brought our girl Mia in for an early morning bath on Thursday. It's been quite a while since Mia's last grooming session at the store so we were a little nervous about the appointment, but the groomer we booked with, Anna, was really good with her. She was very kind and sweet to Mia (Us as well.), and she handled our dog very well. Even though my dog can feel anxious easily, I felt really confident leaving her there with Anna. I left the appointment feeling happy with the outcomes. Great experience for us and our dog, we hope to return for future appointments!
