(from Google)We had an amazing Sweet 16 birthday dinner for our daughter last night. Everything was perfect, the food, atmosphere and service was wonderful. Sarah and Zach were great to work with and helped us plan a beautiful evening. Breezy and all the staff made sure the evening was seamless and fun. Thank you everyone!
We went to The Ivy Kitchen in Huntington the other night with a group of 12, and overall the experience was very mixed. We arrived about 30 minutes late for our reservation, and I really have to give credit where it’s due because they were kind enough to hold our table and keep the kitchen open for us, even though we didn’t place our order until about 15 minutes after being seated. That level of accommodation was truly appreciated. The table was ready, the music and vibes were great, the DJ was on point, and the drinks were amazing. Our waitress was extremely attentive, especially considering the size of our party and the late hour. Service and atmosphere were definitely highlights of the night. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest letdown. Several dishes came out cold, and everything was extremely salty, almost inedible in some cases. I ordered a medium steak, but it was more like well done, very tough, and I was chewing forever. I wasn’t the only one as a few friends who ordered steak had the same complaint. The broccolini was overly salty and honestly not edible. The mac and cheese was also disappointing, which was extra frustrating because I’m on a keto diet and went off plan for it, only to be let down. To be fair, not everything missed the mark: • One friend ordered a burger and fries and said it was good • Two friends had the salmon, which they rated a 6 • However, most of the sides were not good at all I’m not sure if the food quality was affected by the kitchen closing, but the excessive salt and temperature issues were hard to ignore. Nobody complained though, we paid our tab and kept it pushing. Bottom line: Great atmosphere, great drinks, great service but the food consistency really needs work. I’d consider coming back for drinks and vibes, but I’d be hesitant to order a full dinner again unless the food improves.
I was here on NYE and the food was not good. Tasted horrible for what they were charging. My salad was withered. Pasta that came with my chicken parm as well as my Mac and cheese was not cooked properly. Calamari also came undercooked, I got it packed to go to re cook at home but they poured the sauce all over it rather than putting it on the side so now it’s just soggy:/ When I received my bill I was over charged…. We got a pre fixe dinner that was 125PP x 4 people which comes to 500 but it said a total of 520 on the bill?? Also the pre fixe came with a beer per person and we were charged for 2 beers. Someone who wasn’t paying attention could’ve easily missed that and over payed. The server of course got it adjusted, but definitely something to look out for. Bartenders were taking pictures and videos at the bar rather than attending customers also. Overall not a great experience.
We had an amazing night at the The Ivy! Everyone was so hospitable and our hostess, Olivia, was so accommodating. The food was delish and the drinks(ask for Adrianna) were as well! The atmosphere is alive and jumping! Definitely a do over, can't wait to go back❤️
We just hosted my daughter’s Bridal shower here and it went fantastic. The manager Olivia was so helpful and accommodating to all our requests for the party. My guests are still raving about the food! Food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would definitely host another event here in the future.
