Harold Jones Park

Went down to the park to take a drone shot. Weather was beautiful and there was no one there. I appreciate this park and it is well kept but I only went there because it's location was convenient for what I was doing. When I worked nearby years ago it was a nice place to eat lunch when the weather was good.

Quaint little park in the downtown area. It's a nice quiet place to enjoy your lunch. During the summer there are outdoor concerts to enjoy in the evenings.

Cute little park. Good for a walk, my son enjoyed the statues.

During the weekend as it was quite a beautiful and sunny day outside, I decided to tour some of the local parks and decided that Harold Jones Park would be the first of many that I would attend. I must admit that it has been some time since I transverse this park and was surprised with how much it has retained its rustic charm. While they have kept the park well maintained in both trash collection and lawn maintenance, I must admit that the ascetics are less than desirable as most of the flower beds have been reduced to weeds and sand. Outside of the one large sitting structure, there isn't much to see in Harold Jones Park.

In between two overhead highways if you are interested in watching traffic. Good place to sit for 15 minutes. IHOP one is block away. Not a good place for a family outing
