Great off leash dog park. Great little picnic area by the river. Parking fills up quickly.

We’ve been to this waterfront park before to kayak. Now we brought our dog for the first time. It’s a great park with nice trails and some lead to the water which our dog loved!! Lots of happy off leash dogs meeting and greeting each other. The park and water area were clean. I did not see any dog poop at all which means this place is respected and cared for by visitors.

Beautiful little park with lots of canine friends to meet. Good place for picnic, hanging out in grass, or down to water level for fun in the sand and relaxing with feet in the water ❤️

This was a really cool dog park with lots of river access for the dogs. There's no fence, so you may want to make sure you have good recall with your dog before visiting. There were lots of happy dogs swimming and hanging out on the beach. There is a restroom nearby, but it was not very nice. I didn't get a chance to do the trails, but it looked like there were a few trails that would be nice for a walk.

As always, my dogs loved playing at the river tonight. Unfortunately, I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 4 because of some recent changes made at the park. The lights were removed for safety reasons due to safety reasons because of their age. Sadly, there is no plan to replace them leaving this popular park unsafe in the dark. They have also reduced the garbage cans and changed the placement of them. Instead of spacing them throughout the park, they are now only located around the grassy off leash area. As a result, I have noticed more litter in the park. On Monday, I pulled 4 glass bottles and multiple cans from the shoreline. Not only is it ugly... it's dangerous for dogs, children, and anyone recreating in the river.
