Used to take my 65lb long haired shepherd for grooming. Always took 3-4 hours, no matter if it was just a bath or also a haircut, nails always cut but never grinded (she has weak nails that splinter when cut, so grinding is a whole thing), and the last time we went I spent an hour brushing her out once we got home because the shedding was still so bad. She has anxiety and was always very upset before and after. Took her somewhere else that is smaller/less overstimulating and realized that I was paying more money for lower quality work than the local shop I found. Way overpriced for barely trained and likely underpaid groomers. Kept going because they are friendly, appointments are easy to make/adjust, and groomers are communicative.

I had a frustrating and concerning experience at this PetSmart location. An employee refused to fill my dog’s prescription food order, claiming the prescription was “fraudulent” simply because it had been issued 6 months prior. This was for prescription dog food, not medication. My dog has a history of Pancreatitis and requires a very low fat diet to avoid flare-ups. For many pet owners dealing with this condition, prescription food isn’t optional, it’s one of the only safe and practical options outside of fully DIY diets. When I asked to speak with a manager, the situation escalated instead of being clarified. I was told that unless the prescription came specifically from Banfield, they would not honor it. I was also told I would need to come back during Banfield’s operating hours to transfer the prescription in order to use it in-store, even though PetSmart itself was still open at the time. Because of this, I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way to another location. At the PetSmart store, I was able to purchase the exact same prescription food without any issue using the same documentation. The inconsistency between stores is concerning, but more importantly, being told my valid prescription was “fraudulent” without any attempt to verify it was inappropriate and unprofessional. Situations like this can delay access to necessary dietary care for pets with medical conditions. At this point, I would rather take time out of my day to have this shipped to me from Chewy than risk dealing with this location again. At minimum, this location needs clearer training on prescription policies and better communication with customers. I would appreciate someone from corporate reaching out to me regarding this experience, as it raises concerns about policy enforcement and customer care.

Super helpful, very very friendly staff. I was helped with finding medicine for my cats. They're all happy and healthy now!

Had a wonderful experience getting my dog groomed here. He was a little nervous going in but Krysta was very patient and gentle with him. Gave him the exact cut I requested and looked so handsome. Will definitely return!

100% superior to competitor. And a lot more reasonably priced. Had my 2 little dogs groomed today and wow! Terrific job! Will be back in 8 weeks!
