I just had the most disappointing experience with this store. I ordered my dog some Saltsox, and when I went to pick them up in store the next day after the order was confirmed, the item was not pulled from the shelf and actually ended up being out of stock. It was especially frustrating for the order to be confirmed to only find out from the sales associate, James, who went to pull the item when I came to pick it up and couldn’t find it. It makes no sense to me why the store confirmed my order when the item was out of stock, especially since the sales associates were sitting around and chit chatting when I came in store. A heads up about the item not being in stock would’ve been nice, but James told us “they were busy yesterday” so there wasn’t time… I was in the store at 2:45pm, so it seems like if they had plenty of time to stand around and chat today, then they had plenty of time to fulfill my order and alert me if there were any issues with doing so. When I requested my refund, I was told that it wasn’t going to happen since nobody was in store that could do it, and when I pressed do my money to be returned to me for an item I am not going to receive, I was told to take my white privilege out of the store. I’m flabbergasted by this response since it is customer’s business supporting the store and consequently giving that person a job. I will never be going back to this store again and implore others to do the same.

We love Ruff Haus Pets! We started driving to their store from Bucktown over 10 years ago, when they were still on Rockwell. Now live in the neighborhood and have been getting our dog's food and treats there ever since. Love that they have the loyalty programs on most of their products (ie, get the 12th box of food for free). Staff are always friendly and are very educated and knowledgeable about pet food. 10/10 recommend!

I was recently at this shop, looking for something to help my dog, Latte, heal from her dental surgery from the day before. (She had 6 teeth removed.) I was hoping to find some really soft treats for her pain medicine and the vet warned me that she needs to eat soft food for a while. I was on a time crunch so I asked for help and the nice people working there were more than happy to answer any all all questions I had. At their recommendations and shared of information about the product, I purchased Pillbuddy Naturals: Grilled Duck Recipe, A+ Answers Pet Food: Raw Goat Cheese Bite with Turmeric and a couple of cans of Koha: Pure Shreds. I love the Pillbuddy because it's soft like cookie dough yet doesn't stick to your fingers and Latte loves the flavor that she doesn't notice that I placed a pill in it and pretty much inhales it. The goat cheese comes frozen in a box and I keep it frozen so I can give Latte something cold and soothing for her gums. Even frozen, the cheese fell apart easily for her to swallow and is more than happy to have more. And the Koha food is the closet thing I have ever seen to natural real food because it has actual shredded meat! And the broth is not to water and not to congealed that I think I would rather have this than any condense soup can. I highly recommend these products for your pup and also recommend visiting this location. It's full of helpful items and people that actually care for the animals. Lev & Marble are great staff and so friendly and helpful. The experience was wonderful. They have a resident cat who is so sweet also. Lots of high quality stuff here for pets. Lots of cute toys for pets as well as treats. Parking on the street and you have to pay the meter. It’s in a hip area called Lincoln Square w many fun stores.

Went here after my cat was seen at the vet several blocks away. Thought Lark deserved a treat. I was blown away by the variety of cat toys!! Some I hadn't even seen before. I bought a cute ball designed of cardboard, a favorite material with my 6 cats. Their prices were decent, too! Staff was friendly.
