Coastal Sunrise Animal Hospital

I had a great experience with this hospital. The staff is caring, compassionate, and wonderful with pets. They always do their best to help as quickly as possible. My dog had an emergency, and they took care of her right away. I truly appreciate everything they did for us, and I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Schroeder at Sunrise Animal Hospital is, without a doubt, the best veterinarian I have ever had. Over the past two years, Dr. Schroeder has helped my family through some of the most heartbreaking moments a pet owner can face. Two years ago, we had to make the devastating decision to help our beautiful Leia cross the rainbow bridge, and just this past Friday, we had to do the same for our sweet Bubba after 15 wonderful years with him. On what was already an emotional Friday afternoon around 3:30, Dr. Schroeder did everything she could to try and help Bubba when he began having uncontrollable seizures. She never made us feel rushed, pressured, or like just another appointment at the end of a long day. She was compassionate, patient, kind, and truly present with us in one of our hardest moments. Making the decision to say goodbye to Bubba was heartbreaking, but I genuinely could not have asked for a more caring person to guide us through it. Knowing he was going to be with his sister Leia, whom he missed so much, brought some comfort. She also cares for our Max, who has anxiety, and her patience and gentleness with him mean the world to us. Dr. Schroeder has such a special way with both animals and the people who love them. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Schroeder and the entire team at Sunrise Animal Hospital. If you are looking for a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and truly cares, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Spooky is a old man per animal years. He is nearly 21 yrs old in human years. He has a thyroid condition, the Dr. That gave him an updated physical was very kind, knowledgeable . The staff was so friendly and helpful. The price was doable which was very much appreciated for an old lady on SS only. I have recommended to my friends who are pet owners. They have affordable options and communicate pricing upfront so there’s no hidden fees or surprises at the end of the visit. My animals absolutely love their vet Melanie Schroeder. She really goes the extra mile for us, and I am very grateful for her experience and care.

I genuinely love the staff. They love my 85lb baby land seal(pittie mix). When there are issues, they are upfront with pricing, and sensitive when costs are prohibitive. They don't oversell products and are extremely responsive to calls and texts. But mostly, I know when my pup is excited to visit (and not petrified) that its the right place for us.
