Laumeier Sculpture Park Trail Head

Wonderful Local Resource Internationally renounced Having traveled the world I can confidently say this is one of the most unique and thoughtful parks ive ever been to. I was once in the middle east in a basement resturant of an 800 year old building and the waiters eyes lit up upon finding out I was from StL. He gasp amd asked me if I had ever been to Laumeier Sculpture park. He was so excited to see pictures and be given a post card of the one and only park He had dreamed of visiting. A travel tradition ive had for 36 years, of taking local post cards from my beloved home town. As it would be I had taken 3 of the park and had one on me, along with a lighting strike arch shot I love. The trails, the brail sculptures, the nature, the Full sculptures, the facilities, im sure the staff is great but I cant say I ever interact with any. I've gone here for over 40 years, its a place of energy, inspiration, spiritual positivity, and meditation. I've had more happy memories in this place than are possible to recount. Such a Blessing To Have in our neighborhood.

Very cool park. Nice trails and fun sculptures to look at. Didn't go inside the building to see what it was about. But the trails were nice.

What a great outdoor art experience! Ample parking and maps available, this is a gem that shouldn't be missed! We didn't see it all because it started to rain. But I know we only saw a small fraction! Will definitely be back to explore more @

Great park for dog lovers. The park allows you to get away yet enjoy the creative sculptures. I especially enjoy the wooded area to take my dog on walks when the summer weather gets so hot. It's not too crowded in the mornings. There are also paved paths and wide open spaces to enjoy as well.
