(from Google)I’ve been going to Animal Med Center for many decades, having many different doctors, we have always received kind and professional care you would want for your animal…
We love these veterinarians! They are always so friendly and efficient. Very professional operation.
The team of vets and the entire staff at Animal Medical Center are phenomenal professionals! Our pups routinely are seen at the clinic on Shore Drive as well and we love them all! Our elderly poodles recently had dental work done at the Mill Dam location with Dr. Brown and she was wonderful from start to finish!! She routinely updated us on the pups status throughout the procedure, reassured our worries with the utmost empathy, and was so professional throughout the entire process. Highly recommended this team!!!!
I am so sad…I, and my family, have been going to Animal Medical Center on Mill Dam Rd for 49.75 years now. My dog just had 3 back to back seizures in a 36-hour period and they told me they have no openings for weeks. WEEKS?? For an emergency?? Wow. Just very disappointing that they couldn’t fit him in anywhere or even ask us if we would like to be on a waitlist. This vet has changed dramatically and not for the good. I was reading some of the reviews and I, too, have had issues with them charging me appointment fees, then not deducting them from our appointment as stated, then arguing with us to actually get our money back!?! One time, I actually feel like the nurse and doctor were shaming us for inquiring about cheaper heartworm preventions. To sum it up, I really feel this vet is more in it for the money than building relationships and maintaining them. My grandparents and parents would be so disappointed had they been alive today.
My wife and I have been using Animal Medical Center for over a year now. We recently had to schedule our 12.5 year old Great Dane's "final appointment." While that is never an easy appointment to go through, the staff couldn't have possibly done anything more to help us through such a difficult time. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience, one which focused on helping us enjoy our last moments with our sweet boy. My wife and I look back on that time with appreciation. What could have been a very cold, clinical procedure is instead remembered as a bittersweet family moment.
