Sherwood Park

My daughter loves this park but I honestly don’t. It’s always filthy and maintenance is poor. Children also keep on taking their drinks up onto the playgrounds which is not okay 😅 my daughter will grab it whenever she can. It happens way too often but I can easily take care of it. Anyways, She especially loves the sand but it’s so filthy with trash and broken items that I usually have to get her to not play with it. There is also no baby swings which is really disappointing just 4 regular swings. I love that the play sets are easy to access as a parent and that it’s a decent sized park. I wish there was more stuff to do like zip lines, instruments, seesaws, mama & baby swings and other items to help develop children.

I drove to Sherwood park for my daily walk when I exit my car I stepped in poop. At first I thought it was dog poop but then noticed some corn stuck to my shoe. I don’t know who’s hanging out at these parks, but it’s probably a good idea to go deuce somewhere else!

Playground areas are pretty dirty and unkept. Full of trash, stickers, bird poop, tons of ants. Playgrounds have zero shade, and in a city as hot as Odessa you figure that would be pretty important. Among the trash there is a used condom on the floor of the playground. Parks and Rec you need to do a better job the pictures I've uploaded do not do the mess and neglect justice.

Took my daughter for a bike ride had a blast place is cool and clean my daughter loves it ☺️ I wish there was a drink machine so we don't have to go to the store so remember to bring your own drinks, we did bring water but we ran out it was a sunny day 🌞 😎

This park was absolutely amazing. We just moved to the area. This is our new favorite park! We have nothing like this back home! Its a huge park and there so so much to do. Love it! We will be back very often for sure! It's great for all ages
