North Straub Park

Love this place, especially early in the AM hours. They have yoga classes, side walk runners, bicyclist etc. Good pleasd to mediate, read scriptures, and just enjoy scenary.

North Straub Park is an absolute gem along St. Pete's waterfront. Convenient parking surrounds the entire park, making it easy to visit anytime. The location right along the water is stunning, and there's plenty of mature tree canopy offering cool, shady spots perfect for a picnic. The real showstoppers are the ancient Banyan trees — sprawling, dramatic, and endlessly fascinating. Their tangled aerial roots make them feel like nature's own jungle gym, and they're unlike anything you'll find in a typical city park. Don't miss the long pergola (gondola walkway) lined with beautiful flowering plants and dotted with benches — it's a peaceful spot to sit, relax, and take in the surroundings. North Straub Park is also home to the beloved "Awakening Into the Sun" festival, held annually on the first weekend of March. It's a wonderful community event that makes this already special park feel even more alive. Whether you're looking for a scenic stroll, a quiet afternoon outdoors, or a unique photo opportunity with those magnificent Banyans, North Straub Park delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Great place to visit during Christmas. Lots of lights and the tree is awesome. The city arranges photos with Santa for the kids. Close to great restaurants, and the pier.

Awesome little park in St Petersburg Florida. Right by the pier on the water, where they have a range of things from pop up markets with vendors, to christmas lights and other things for the whole family. A great spot for a morning walk with a friend, pet, or by yourself. Venture close to the water and you may even see a dolphin.
