We had such an amazing experience with Kevin at Serenity K-9. He worked with our lab puppy, Dingo, and the transformation has honestly been incredible. Kevin is so knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. What I really appreciated is that he didn’t just train our dog—he taught us how to properly communicate and work with him so the results actually last. Our pup is now so much more focused, well-behaved, and confident in different environments. He really took the time to tailor everything to fit our lifestyle, and made sure we felt comfortable continuing the training on our own. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and takes a lot of pride in what he does. 10/10 — I highly recommend working with Kevin if you’re looking for a dog trainer. We recently worked with him for our 10-month-old yellow Lab puppy, and it’s incredible to see what can be accomplished in just one week—let alone four. Our dog struggled with listening, controlling excitement, following commands, jumping, and more. Day-to-day tasks with our dog had become difficult to manage. Kevin not only transformed our dog’s behavior, but also provided us with clear guidance and practical corrections to help us maintain that progress at home. He is personable, attentive, and truly tailors his training to meet the needs of each pet owner. Unlike large, big-box training facilities, he offers focused, one-on-one attention. Most importantly, he equips you with the skills and tools needed to ensure the training lasts well beyond the four-week program.

In this week before Thanksgiving we wanted to share how grateful we are for Kevin and Serenity K9! We feel blessed that they are an active part of our pet training journey! Do you ever have those times when you set out to accomplish one goal and end up resolving another? Our family was on a mission for help due to some issues that had started with our Senior Shepherd -Thor. We had noticed some changes in behaviors that we all agreed- needed a professional approach. Heightened anxiety levels, signs of aggression never shown before, and fear of certain noises. We were concerned and we had just welcomed a new puppy into our home – Cooper. After a dear friend recommended Serenity K9 and our family had an amazing consultation to address concerns about Thor’s behaviors we agreed that Serenity K9 was the perfect match for Thor and our family. Kevin was incredible about hearing and understanding our concerns and clear about the action plan, family involvement and going over expectations during the training period. Serenity K9 welcomed Thor in for board and train. Kevin quickly recognized that there was a lot more going on than training concerns with our beloved Shepherd. Sometimes we are way to close, as pet owners, to understand the magnitude of certain actions and behaviors of our sweet pets.  We just know that things are terribly off.  As a professional trainer, Kevin spoke with our family right away about his concerns with Thor and was completely humble and honest about what our options were as a family. I say this because Kevin, as a professional and highly ethical person, will place your pet and family at the highest level. Kevin stayed close in contact as we encountered many challenging medical issues over the course of the following weeks.  We lost our beloved Thor due to neurological issues a few weeks later. Kevin’s love, dedication and understanding for animals goes far beyond the norm. His commitment to helping the animal and owner learn how to work through behaviors and have the knowledge to continue the correct actions after training is huge. His commitment to the owner and pet during and after training, speaks volumes about him as a person and business owner.  You get genuine, tough love, truth, ALL in, hard work, educational training. For YOU and your pet! We have been working with and continuing our training with Serenity K9 for our puppy, Cooper who is 7 months old. Kevin is providing us with a great foundation for him! We would refer Kevin and Serenity K9 with the highest of recommendations to anyone in search of professional training for their pet!

I could not be happier with the training my two dogs received! Over the course of four weeks, Kevin not only worked with my dogs but also took excellent care of them. When we started, both of my dogs were very reactive and difficult to manage, but now they are friendly, social, and so much more enjoyable to be around. What impressed me most is that the training went beyond just teaching my dogs commands. I learned so much about my own relationship with them, how my interactions influence their behavior, and how to confidently handle different situations. Kevin gave me tools and knowledge that will last well beyond the sessions. This experience was truly transformative for both my dogs and me. Kevin with Serenity K9 is top notch. Very knowledgeable not only with training but with equipment such as leashes, e collars, prong collars, and treat bags. Recommendations on food, and treats depending on the breed, age, and size of your pup. He has the space and equipment as well as relationships with surrounding establishments and businesses to support in the best training around. Furthermore, the training provided is not only for your pup but also the owner/owners. To keep your pup motivated and in tune with the training you want, you have to have the drive and love as well.
