(from Google)I enjoyed the place over all. The food was yummy the pretzel was huge but the cheese they provided with it was less than to be desired! I also had a spicy Italian sausage on a bun with jalapeños and grilled unions with garlic sauce this was a great tasting sausage the only real issue is the price for a simple sausage was way to high we choose to eat anyways I wouldn’t say anything bad though about the stay if you’re looking for something different this place is yummy and new
Great little sports pub in Eugene! Their name lives up to their selection. We tried the brisket bangers with a medium gorgonzola fries (no skimping on portion size here) and everything was delicious! What we really noticed was the customer service, attentive, personable and friendly. If you’re looking for a great, local, place to try, give Bangers and Brew a visit. We will definitely be back!
In town for a temporary work assignment in Eugene and found this pretty awesome spot. I love all the varieties of regional beer and sausages. Their sausage varieties ranged from a standard brat to boar and so much in between. I was excited to see they had Alaska Reindeer on the menu and equally excited that it was from Alaska Sausage Co. You can dress your sausages with various toppings & sauces and they come on a toasted bolillo roll. I had and, of course, recommend the Burnt End Brisket sausage and dressed it with caramelized onions, chopped jalapenos, and bbq sauce. A+! The dining room is spacious with picnic tables and high tops, making for a communal dining experience which wasn't bad at all. BTW, you can also do a sausage sampler. Hit this place up. I know I'm going to at least one more time before I head home. p.s. the milkshakes are sooooo good!
Truly inspired food. This isnt just playing on a theme or gimmick. This is genuinely, top notch, creative, gastropub cuisine. Who puts cream cheese, chimichurri, and caramelized onions on a dog? These guys, that's who. It was sublime. It's not just a creative combination of items. Each individual ingredient is high quality, making for a bold yet balanced bite. The burnt ends brisket sausage was transcendent... This place lives rent free in my head now - and I think I have to open a franchise. The garlic aoli ( they will sell you a bottle!) is the best you have ever had. Trust. Thank you Bangers & Brews
Beer clean glassware! Yes, that is my lead-in title because it’s so crazy rare to get truly beer clean glassware that I talked about it to the couple beside me (Pete and Roxanne who I got to meet were awesome btw). It’s less than 1% of the places I visit that are true beer clean glassware astute. There are many that do a good job, but when you see the lacing on glassware that I saw tonight, you know you’re in rarified air. FOOD: ok I know most people don’t need out over glassware the way I do so let’s discuss the food - I went more unique with a lamb sausage and a boar sausage, plus my new friends next to me shared their fries. My opinion? Awesome. Well executed sausage, the fries were really good - crisp on the outside and still perfect potato texture inside while being hot with a fry sauce side that perfectly complemented Service was great, met regulars, had tasty food - but the whale in this adventure was the care for the glassware. This is special - the owner truly cares about your experience when they nail the small details a lot of folks miss. I didn’t miss this detail because it’s massive in the nuance on your beer but takes special care and pride to get right. Bangers takes pride in giving you a beer in a properly maintained glass, and that’s uniquely special. Applause to Bangers for attention to detail!
