(from Google)Worst customer service ever went in with 14 co workers didn’t seat us which is fine. We ask the server how many ways we can split the check she said 3 we decided to go up to the bar and order drinks the blonde waiter gets mad slams stuff and is talking bad behind our backs and giving bad attitude because we did not want to order drinks with her. We decided to order appetizers because we felt pressured to because she announced to the whole bar that we didn’t want to order with her. We ordered 11 shots as well of cactus cooler. The bill came to $82 for the shots and $12 for the appetizer making the shots $7 each. We go up to order two more cactus cooler shots and Paulina charged me $10 each shot and I asked why she was charging me more and she gave me attitude saying that’s the price when I asked for my other receipt that I left on the table signed that the waiter just picked up they didn’t want to give it to me these two girl are very rude and condescending. They are two blonde girls who are taking shots with the customers at the bar and couldn’t price my drinks right and when I ask about it want to be rude to me.
I had the Lemon chicken, steamed veggie’s (fresh), rice. EXCELLENT! $16., large portions, really really good. Just don’t be in a hurry, place runs at its own pace. I paired this gem with a Sculpin, (2).
I come here mostly for prime rib Wednesdays. It’s a very good deal for a large piece of prime rib. Baked potato would be an additional charge. The regular items are reasonably priced. They are pretty busy during every visit. There’s usually a wait if you arrive after 5pm. The waitresses were nice but I waited for a long time to get a to go box and the check every time. Be prepared to wait for a table and your check. It’s not easy to find parking and that’s one of the reasons I don’t go often. Anyways, it seems like a good place to be for some beer and watch games.
I’ve been to Bullpen a few times now. This was probably my third visit, and I come specifically for their Wednesday prime rib special. For just $25.95, you get a massive cut of prime rib, easily 16 oz or more, served with steamed broccoli and a baked potato. For just $2 extra, you can get the potato fully loaded, and it’s absolutely worth it. The prime rib itself is the real star - perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s honestly one of the best deals in town for the quality and portion size. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a classic sports bar: casual and unpretentious, with plenty of TVs showing all kinds of games. It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable and lively. If you’re craving great prime rib without breaking the bank, I highly recommend checking out Bullpen on a Wednesday night. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is such a find! Great atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, stellar food & surprisingly good prices. Good for families or just a friend's night out. Eat in the bar area for sports nights, drinks & music or find more quiet in the large main dining room. Always had a fantastic experience here. Highly recommend the seared ahi, lemon chicken (my favorite) & the tri-tip rub - both the sandwich & the dinner are excellent. My go-to spot in San Diego.
