My family is so grateful for the wonderfully compassionate care my sweet older dog Max got today. We sadly found out that his symptoms were terminal, but Dr. Rachael was so gracious as we processed the information. The entire staff we interacted with was just so caring and considerate. If you want a local vet clinic where the people are truly compassionate, you have found your place!

We needed a vet after our place suddenly closed and we needed to update routine vaccinations for one of our pups. This place was like a morgue. Nobody was at the front counter for some time and we wandered around yelling hello since we heard talking in the back. A reception person finally came out with no greeting, no hello. Just a who is this and put your dog on the scale. Didn’t bother to say, great got her weight so I took her off and the reception person proceeded to just stick us in a room where we just waited and waited. Someone came in to ask us the same intake question we were asked via email and then via text, we waited again for the vet. Gave up on the ridiculously claustrophobic and unfriendly room so we walked around two little halls with 5 empty rooms. Finally get the vet who tried to sell us on all sorts of other things before leaving to “go get the vaccine”. We waited again for the 2 second poke to leave. This place is underwhelming to say the least. Kind of dingy feeling, no waiting space, unfriendly people. 100% will NOT establish care here.

We had such a great experience at Sploot Greenwood Village! Sploot is my primary vet, but we had a bit of an emergency pop up and this location could get us in same day. We thought it was a UTI, and in addition to the urinalysis they did an ultrasound just to make sure everything looked okay. Everyone was so kind and knowledgable, and my dog was happy and comfortable. We left with the medication she needed and peace of mind that it was not anything major. The price for a last minute emergency trip on Super Bowl Sunday was really reasonable!

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. We chose to go to Sploot because it's close to home, and the doctor who had originally prescribed my cat's meds had left the location, and the prescription was void. Pluto has a liver shunt and needs to take lactulose and amoxicillin multiple times a day for the rest of his life, as well as be on a k/d prescription diet. He takes medicine every day, multiple times a day, to STAY ALIVE! Otherwise toxins build up which causes him to go blind, he has seizures, becomes very disoriented and gets a urinary blockage (highly deadly in male cats). Attached photos of Pluto without his medicine. Sploot has given us the runaround about getting his medicine filled multiple times. At our very first appointment with them, they were initially not going to prescribe his meds because we denied blood work and other tests after they were given all records and work done from a previous internal medicine doctor. After talking with the doctor about why my cat needs these meds and why they were originally prescribed by the internal medicine doctor, they sent us home with the meds without telling us that the amoxicillin was already mixed with water and needed to be refrigerated immediately, and with no written prescription and no refills. We ended up having to throw out the amoxicillin, and my cat went without until requesting through Chewy, then was only accepted for 1 refill. When requesting a written prescription to fill at another pharmacy in emergencies, they won’t give us one. When requesting refills through them, the doctor requested to see my cat again, when he was just seen weeks before. We denied that, so they sent a form that needed to be filled out, which apparently takes 3 business days to be processed and then filled by their team, even knowing the urgency of needing this medicine. This has never been a problem at any other vet we’ve been to. This is multiple times my cat has gone without his medicine. Highly recommended VCA. Sploot is a terrible veterinary clinic, and I would advise everyone to take their pets elsewhere. They do not care about the well-being or livelihood of your pets; they just want to make money off of them and you. unfortunately.

Had such an amazing experience here at sploot! Dr.Berns and Chris M. were so great with my lil babies! You could tell they loved my babies as much as I do! My kittens weren’t scared and really felt the love from them! We will for sure be back even the amazing front desk lady was an angel :) thank you for the amazing care and kindness! Much love, Madi, Endora and Freya 🩷 ✨Updated review- again Dr. berns is exceptional! Like this woman goes above and beyond and so does the staff helping her. Her kindness and love for animals is just out of this world. I sadly had to take my kittens to another vet because it was cheaper and i won’t be doing that again. The other vet scared my babies to the point where they have to be sedated now to go to the vet. Dr. Berns was able to still give Freya an exam and still give her meds and work with me on best options so I didn’t have to pay a huge price up front. She’s an angel and seriously I am only taking them here now. Dr. Berns is the vet to go to hands down! I’m sure all the other vets there are just like her! Sploot is the place to be 🩷
