(from Google)The beginning of the trail in September was like walking down the aisle behind a flower girl who was dropping apples instead of rose petals. Started downhill so keep that in mind for your journey back. There is some parking available on the cul de sac right at the trail head.
Such a gorgeous hike! It's peaceful and quiet, you'll forget it's in the middle of a busy city. The trails are easy to follow and there's plenty of different ones you can go on to. There's a lot of bridges also, with benches throughout. Just remember which way you're going, it's easy to get a little lost, but there's good cell service making it easy to look it up on your phone. I felt pretty safe going solo as a woman. I really enjoyed it!
Awesome park, lots of trails through a well preserved natural area with all kinds of wildlife.
Great place to explore I do not suggest any type of stroller except an off roader 😁 and tiny legs are a challenge with the terrain
The trail can be a bit confusing if you didn’t have a map of the trail. But as long as you stay on the path you won’t get lost. You can park your car in the neighborhood. The trail is a bit long if planning to explore a large portion of it in a day. Though it is definitely worth the trip with the quietude inside. It is a really purine environment with a lot of mushrooms and other things.
