Okay, where do I begin! We walked I. Without an appointment and they were happy to accommodate us. The tech and Dr were #1 with sincere concern! We went home feeling we were well informed and taken care of. My cat was not going crazy as I thought he would! Then wow! I appreciate the professionalism and I love that you called to follow up, to see how my cat Comehere is doing. Made my heart melt! Then we returned for a follow up and again best care ever! First time going to Wedington Animal Hospital with our 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy. All the staff I met was so nice!! Definitely a big difference than my last vet. They took great care of my puppy and did their best to make it a positive experience for her.

FOR BIRD OWNERS! I have recently been bringing my green cheeked conure, Pongo, here for beak and nail trims as well as wellness checkups, and they are great! They mention the risks of handling a small animal in a stressful situation and offered sedatives to help calm him during these times. Another GREAT thing is they do all of this in front of you, so you don't have to stress about how your baby is doing. Here are some pictures of Pongo in the room, exploring and being silly.

For those of you who are bird owners, I bring my flock to Wedington. I have had nothing but positive experiences thus far. The staff is knowledgeable and very gentle with my fragile little birds. They helped me over this past week with one who went into respiratory distress. I felt well informed and confident in the doctors direction. I know that is a big concern in the bird community. These folks have done their best and it always helps when you have a happy outcome from the brink of death.

My 2.5yo dachshund got attacked by coyotes the other night and I brought her here. They took her back immediately, kept me well informed and comforted me during the whole thing. She was mostly in shock and thankfully didn’t have any major injuries. They were great especially Dr. Rolland and I will be bringing her here for her regular check ups now! Thank you WAH!
