Small business which has a lot of Birding books, feeders and seed. They also do some Bird Walks and workshops where you can learn about birds in Denver Metro Area. If you are a beginner or expert birders- this is the place to go for optical equipment like Binoculars and everything you need. Love this place and the programs.

Adorable store with a range of equipment for beginners to experts. Super knowledgeable and kind staff - they made an exception for me as I am not local and needed an item quickly, explaining everything I needed to know. I loved this store and if I lived here would peruse it often!

Excellent shop for birding needs from back yarding feeders/feed, books, etc to binoculars and scopes for field birding. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. They also offer free bird ID lectures and local birding walks, so definitely worth joining their newsletter and/or FB page to be in the loop. They also offer out-of-town birding tours with another organization. Great local resource, whatever your birding level - highly recommended.

I am a huge fan of this store and so happy about their location in Boulder. They have a quality selection of food, merchandise, feeders, books and resources, binoculars, and more. They are extremely community oriented and offer many events and walks to engage further with birds in the area. This is what local business should be about! On top of all that, they have an incredibly warm and thoughtful staff who will always take the time to converse with you and help address your birding needs or questions.

I recently visited Chip for a new spotting scope. His service was great and he is definitely an optics expert. The store is well-stocked, especially in the optics department. It’s really nice to have a place to try out binoculars and spotting scopes as there are many options available, what feels right to you may not feel right to someone else. I also joined Chip on a birdwalk, it was great to have such a knowledgeable birder share their knowledge and point out the subtle differences between species. I will definitely be back, glad to have such a nice store in Boulder!
