Lookout Bar and Grill

We had breakfast here both days of our stay. The food was very good. Cathy took care of us day 1 and even though she wasn’t out server day 2 she checked on us. She was incredibly friendly and sweet. She helped us get our two year old a meal he would enjoy and was very patient with the chaos a 2 year old brings. Cathy is awesome!

It took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. There were four waitresses just standing around. We weren't offered the happy hour menu during happy hour. We could hear the waitresses bitching about each other. The entire experience was sub par. Considering what this place charges a night, you would think you could get decent service in the restaurant. The quality of the food for the price is not good at all.

(Vibe). As travelers we were looking for a small bar offering easy parking and a festive atmosphere (Xmas) and good food. Lookout hit all the bases! It’s located in the lobby of the Westward Look Wyndham Resort. Nice Xmas decorations driving up and walking in The bar was decorated with class. We sat on the large glass windows with a great view of the valley in the distant horizon (glare on pic covers it). We parked steps from the entrance- Easy Button. (Food). The Pork Posole was outstanding. Full of flavor with seasoned slow cooked shredded pork. The Tequila Pasta was light, flavorful and done to perfect-Excellent. Cocktails and wine were great. Finished the meal with a Sonoran Flower- a great ending to fabulous meal. (Service). First class. I called spoke to the manager and when we arrived our window front table was waiting for us with plenty of room for our service animal-super bonus. Jennifer was great and allowed us to enjoy our evening.

Nestled in the foothills, this hacienda-style resort has beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding Sonoran Desert, and it’s the perfect location to enjoy drinks, dinner, a leisurely swim, tennis, various special events, and more. It’s only minutes from the city and yet a million miles away in vibe, with relaxing nooks and crannies at every turn, including the lounging spaces, spa, and multiple pools. I especially enjoyed Palm, the main bar and restaurant, which offer outstanding live music on weekends and serve up delicious food both indoors and on the lovely patio terrace (don’t miss the tortilla soup or corn fritters…amazingly good). There are simply endless ways to unwind at this oasis!

My husband and I had a wonderful time here at Palm Restaurant Of Westward Look for a romantic dinner celebration! The food was absolutely divine… so delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely with our window seating overlooking the starry night. Everyone from the servers, bartender, Chef, and head manager of the evening was Superb!! Our server, Sara, was kind, pleasant and knowledgeable about each dish. The drinks were made by Greg who carefully crafted each cocktail to perfection including our Sonoran Flower made with a Mescal that was top shelf and he would occasionally deliver the drink with utmost care to our table.. The Sonoran Flower which was FANTASTIC is now one of our favorites!! The biggest reason we had a great time was the service, Carissa, who must have been the head manager/ of the evening was beyond phenomenal! She was on top of everything, and made us feel welcomed and valued!
