(from Google)They are fantastic. My Daisy has been suffering from kidney failure or something similar for days. She was near death. I was referred to this event by a friend get a second opinion for her original diagnosed. Dr. Martinez went above and beyond to accommodate us on short notice And then put together a plan to eat my cat suffering. We don’t know if it will work to bring her back to full health yet, but she’s getting better already and I am forever grateful and thankful for this doctor.
The front staff was super kind. Dr. Martinez and her assistants(RJ and to others don’t catch their names) were so nice, informative and helped make a plan for my sweet pup to keep him healthy💛
This is hands down the best animal hospital around. The staff is incredibly helpful, compassionate, and genuinely care about both the pets and their owners. They’ve performed two major surgeries on my dog, and both times the results were amazing. My dog recovered beautifully and is doing great thanks to their skill and dedication. I’m beyond grateful for everything they’ve done. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality care!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but today is the exception. Like many families, I am under serious financial strain due to the long-term effects of COVID. When the world shut down, my wife lost her job, my hours were cut, and I took on a mountain of debt just to keep a roof over my family’s head. I’m struggling, but I was desperate for help. Last week, I brought my dog, Luna, in for what was clearly an emergency. She was vomiting, had bloody diarrhea, could not keep food or water down, and was becoming increasingly lethargic. I made an appointment and brought her in on the morning of Thursday, January 15, genuinely hoping for care or guidance. One staff member took Luna from me for a brief observation. A few minutes later, a different nurse came back, wrapped Luna in a towel, handed me a pamphlet, and said—verbatim—“I’m sorry, we cannot help you here. You don’t have the money for the scans or tests we need. You could barely afford for the doctor to even look at your dog.” I was absolutely devastated. What made this worse wasn’t just being turned away—it was the complete lack of compassion. No empathy. No alternatives. No attempt to help in any way. Just dismissal during one of the most stressful moments of my life. I was handed a pamphlet and told to go elsewhere—somewhere that might help if I had good credit. Luna passed away the next morning. I will never return to this place, and I would never recommend it to anyone I care about. Zero compassion and zero care when it mattered most.
Amazing !! Dr. Ulacia, and Technician Daniel were knowledgeable, explained everything, gave options without pressure and so compassionate. My chihuahua is 18.5 years old and struggling. I can’t say enough good words about Brookside Animal Hospital and veterinary services.
