I recently enrolled my 6-month-old Goldendoodle, Nyla, in Wesley's hybrid training program, which included a two-week board-and-train and five private lessons. Throughout the entire process, I was incredibly impressed with both the training and communication. During the board-and-train, I had the opportunity to visit Wesley and see Nyla's progress firsthand. Wesley is truly exceptional when it comes to training dogs and helping owners understand their dog's behavior. He consistently kept me updated by sending videos of Nyla's training sessions, along with demonstrations of how he corrected behaviors. These videos helped me better understand how to reinforce commands and address issues at home. What sets Wesley apart is that he doesn't just train your dog...he takes the time to educate and train the owner as well. His approach is thorough, professional, and tailored to ensure long-term success for both the dog and the family. I would 100% recommend Wesley and Good Dawg to anyone looking for respectful, effective, and comprehensive dog training. The results speak for themselves, and the knowledge and support he provides are invaluable. 10/10, highly recommend!

Truly cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Wesley. I sent Bodie for a 3 week board & train. Getting him in was so easy, & the communication was fantastic. Wesley even provided tips to try in the brief period before Bodie was with him. I received regular updates & check-ins. Even now that Bodie is home, Wesley still checks in & offers advice. Bodie went from being very high strung & excited reactive with almost no impulse control to now he can go on off-leash adventures and be an all around better citizen.

I took my 10-week-old Bernedoodle puppy, Roux, to spend two weeks with Wesley at Good DaweG for a board-and-train, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Wesley was incredibly professional and amazing to work with from start to finish. He communicated often with updates, photos, and videos showing Roux’s progress and how she was adjusting, which gave me so much peace of mind. After having a poor experience with a breeder-recommended trainer for our last dog, Wesley was truly a breath of fresh air. His approach is patient, consistent, and clearly rooted in a genuine love for dogs. We’ve had Roux home for a couple of weeks now, and she’s doing incredible- confident, well-mannered, and eager to learn. She’s even been teaching her big sister, Winnie, some of the good habits she picked up from Wesley! I’ll be taking both of my dogs back to him once the youngest is six months old for obedience training. I would recommend Good DaweG to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and caring trainer.
