Beautiful park. Lots of cute dogs. Great security.

I was told i could not use my camera because its a professional camera (which is not). i asked what is the definition of a professional camera? “anything with a lens.” . I asked what type of lens or length was not allowed, they were not able to give me an answer. By that logic your phone should not be aloud as well sense it also has lenses. If this is so important it should be posted on the rules when you walk in or educate security on which cameras an allowed.

Parque Ciudadela is a beautiful and very clean park—great for a walk or a picnic, with plenty of green space and thoughtful touches like water bowls and trash cans for dogs. But the experience was ruined when we were screamed at just for trying to take photos with a professional camera. I was simply practicing photography and security told us we had to contact their “promotions team” for permission. They gave us zero contact info, no names, nothing. It was confusing and honestly embarrassing. To make it worse, there were dogs off-leash in areas that had clear signs against it, which felt unsafe. And while dogs have water, there’s nothing available for humans walking the trail in the heat. It’s a shame, because the park is lovely—but the strict and inconsistent enforcement makes it hard to enjoy.

Very nice place not to big but beautiful

Armed security guard, seated on the right upon entering. He has a golf cart for roaming and grounds. Huge, facility, for walking or jogging. Extensive , excellent; Children's playground! Well manicured grass and trees and plants! Places just to sit and relax. People watch! ☘️🇵🇷
