We’ve boarded our dogs and our rabbit here multiple times, and every experience has been outstanding. On our most recent trip, our rabbit became ill while we were out of town. Thanks to Maria’s quick instincts and genuine compassion, she immediately took action—getting him to an emergency vet, hand-feeding him, and administering medication around the clock. That level of dedication is incredibly rare. The love, attention, and responsibility Maria and David show to every animal in their care goes far beyond standard pet boarding services. We have been taking our sweet husky mix named Abby to the Barkery Boarding and Daycare for the last year. Abby does daycare a few days a week. She loves hanging with her friends. She gets so excited when we pull up to the center. We also board Abby there any time we travel. Dave and Maria are such caring people. I never worry about Abby when she is in their care. Truly a 5-star experience and would recommend them for all your daycare/boarding needs.

We just picked up our boys from an 8 night stay, our first time, and we could not be more impressed! Maria and Dave are awesome people. The communication is top notch, I received pictures and videos everyday (without request), the facility is very clean, and my dogs came home tired and happy! We will absolutely be back.

We have been taking our dog to this place ever since we got her and we love it!! Dave, his wife and the staff just love dogs and it shows. They know which dogs go together, which are better apart and they take tons of videos and pix you can see. There has never been a single dog incident I am aware of at this place - that's how well they know and manage all the pups. They also alternate between outside time and downtime so it's a good mix each day. My dog loves going to "school" and runs to the car when its time. If we playback a video and she hears the workers voices she gets so happy! Doggie daycare really helps with her energy levels and mischief around the house. I think their prices are more than fair and if you live in Lutz/Odessa it's easy to get to. Just make sure you are careful going in and out with the schools nearby (kids go flying down the sidewalk and its hard to see). This place is not fancy and your dog will be dusty when you pick them up, but you can rest assured they are treated like family when they are there!

The Barkery has been my dogs home away from home for the last 5 years. They love going to daycare, and feel safe when we have to travel out of state. Dave and Maria and their staff take great care of my very active dogs:)
