I cannot say enough good things about Ness Animal Clinic. Dr. Golan and Michelle took exceptional care of my bearded dragon, Blaze, and I am so grateful for their help. They treated an abscess and took the time to show me exactly how to give his antibiotic injections at home, which made me feel confident and supported instead of overwhelmed. Both of them were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. They explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. On top of the excellent care, the pricing was very affordable, which I truly appreciated. It is rare to find a clinic that combines this level of expertise with compassion and transparency. I am so happy I chose Ness Animal Clinic and I will absolutely continue bringing Blaze here in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares.

They KILLED my bunny. I took Karmel (4 year old bunny) for a visit. It was just a regular visit. I asked for nail trim to be done and matted fur to be shaved off. Nothing serious. Doctor Golan check his temperature said its normal. She examined him and said everything is Okay. Heart beat is ok. She also said he will need to be anesthetized because he's jumpy. I agreed because it was done before. Before leaving the office she said she don't expect any complications because he's healthy bunny. After over 40 minutes of waiting doctor came back. She said that Karmel's heart stopped but they gave him a shoot and he came back right away. Doctor Golan told me that he was waking up during the procedure and they had to give him more and more of isoflurane. She was talking about next checkup visit because of what happened during the procedure. Few minutes later I was told that they are doing CPR and they lost him. Why doctor never stop the procedure when he was waking up instead of giving him more and more of isoflurane. It wasn't anything serious. If she didn't finish the job she should just let me know and schedule another appointment for later time. I never had a problem with Ness clinic. That was my first time with doctor Golan and she killed him. I had all my other visits with doctor Ness and had no problem. Few month ago the same procedure was done with doctor Ness and he didn't even anesthetized him. But some doctors wants to do it the easy way. She overdosed him.

I started going to Ness Exotic a bit over a year ago - one of my guinea pigs has chronic mobility issues after recovering from an infection, and Dr. Golan has helped us restore a quality of life to her that I didn't think would be possible. I can't recommend them highly enough, the cost is affordable and the care is impeccable.

I’m so glad to be back in this area to see Dr. Ness. I took my ferrets to him when I was here 10 years ago and now I’m back with a different one. He caught things that previous vets missed. The prices are affordable and the staff is so friendly. I highly recommend Ness!

I’ve been coming to Ness Exotics for over a decade as they’ve always been the most experienced and reliable exotic vet in the Chicagoland area near the western suburbs (and I’ve tried them all!). My rabbit became very sick over the past few months and needed emergency care multiple times. Dr Ness was able to squeeze him in and went above and beyond to treat him. The vet support staff are wonderful and everyone provided him with such love and care (despite his ornery personality!). He unfortunately did not make it and Dr Ness and the staff provided such reverence for us during that process and allowed us to say goodbye to him. We are so appreciative of the efforts made to save his life and will always be grateful for the transparency of his condition and ability to sit with him in his final moments.
