Brought my cat here for first time vaccines. Kinda new to the are and found this place through google reviews. Came in and sign some form for first time client (nothing crazy). Saw a doctor/tech and both gave my cat just the most amount of the best attention. Definitely set a good standard for NY animal care. Staff is laid back and helpful.

Called simply to ask if I could bring my dog in for a quick nail trim, and the front desk staff couldn’t have been more rude. Instead of offering options or answering kindly, they gave me attitude and made it clear I’d be charged full price regardless… no flexibility, no compassion, and no effort to understand my situation. This wasn’t even an in-person visit, and they still managed to make it an unpleasant experience. If they treat potential clients this poorly just over the phone, I can only imagine how cold and transactional it would be in person. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

I came here with my dog over a concerning lump on his leg that hadn’t gone away in a month and a half and wasn’t showing signs of resolving. I didn’t have a local vet yet so I was looking for one. My dog was seen by their newest vet, who felt the lump but barely looked at it, and after a few seconds, just said “just monitor it,” with no justification and with no timeline as to when to come back. None of my questions were answered, with the exception of saying not to do a FNA because we didn’t want to be “too invasive.” While I can appreciate that and a conservative approach overall, I didn’t get any sort of guidance as to a timeline to bring him back or what to watch out for. I’m no expert, but I didn’t even get a sense that the vet knew what he was looking at. It felt like I was the one leading the appointment, which is troubling seeing as my only veterinary knowledge is what I can find online. He just gave my dog vaccines and sent me home. Knowing something was definitely wrong, I went to a new vet at a different practice two weeks later. The new vet immediately performed a FNA and confirmed it was cancerous in just 5 minutes, and scheduled surgery. I already have lost 2 weeks in getting ahead of the curve for treating my dog, and If I had trusted this practice to their word, who knows what would have happened. I can’t speak to the other vets in this practice, but my experience here was atrocious. Be very careful bringing your pets here and seek a second opinion. I know I definitely won’t be coming back.

Absolutely the best vet we've seen. Our dog gets very anxious going to the vet after previously having bad experiences elsewhere & the team here does such a great job with her. We are so grateful to have found them. 10/10 recommend!

Took my deliela there for tumor’s removal all went well and done in one day. Total of 2 removed. I can’t even thank the doctor Starr for the handling of my precious pup of 11 years. The staff was very nice and helpful and friendly. 🫶 These pictures is of the two removed front and front arm pit area. I will post after pictures later due to her recovering ❤️‍🩹 hope this will help others out in thinking of getting help on issues with there beloved pets if possible. After a couple of days now she’s on her feet as always and playing with her balls. Tom boy. 😂 Healing will take time as with any procedure. She’s now a healthy and doing good.
