(from Google)Great park. Nice and quiet, with plenty of paths. Walk the dog there all the time.
Really nice park. Has outdoor exercise equipment and a nice playground if you have kids. Dog-friendly.
Nice park area for the kids. Skate park in place even has like a stair stepper. The place really doesnt have much personality, it's kind of blah. Descent cement bike trail, not much to see but ok it you want a little distance. The bike trail extends but you have to cross the street and it's not really that far on a bike. Given lower stars for lack of personality. Otherwise a good safe place to hangout.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars (or 10!) is that I wish there was a restroom. This is far & away the best Park in Arlington for walking, jogging, biking on the wide, well-maintained paths. Great playground for kids. Benches & tables scattered throughout. Dogs on leash are welcome. Plenty of bag stations + trash cans. Lots of gorgeous big trees. Perfect paths for strollers. Lots of squirrels and birds.
Went there to bird and for a beautiful, quiet walk. The trees there are huge and have spreading canopys for lots of shade. There's a few grassy paths that pass under the trees and make for great bird watching. Lots of open space for kids and playground area. The creek can be accessed by some dirt paths for some possible views of ducks. Benches are sprinkled throughout the park for more quiet, relaxing moments.
