(from Google)Absolutely gorgeous views and always a pretty hike anytime of the year- especially in fall. Moderate trail- first half is pretty chill but then there’s a fairly consistent climb to the overlook. Not too long though and definitely worth it. Parking is often difficult to find but Do Not park on the road except at turnouts! It causes so much traffic issues and I’ve seen cars get ticketed before.
Beautiful hike with a great view! The loop itself is a moderate hike with beautiful plants. You take a separate path to get up to the overlook and this part is a pretty hard hike, but worth it for the views. It’s also a bike and horse trail.
Moderate hike was pretty steep during the end. We accidentally took a wrong path and went on the lame horse trail instead of the horse flat trail but it led onto the right path. The views were amazing I didn’t wanna leave
One of my favorite hikes! A nice steady incline most of the way with beautiful vistas and forest. The last leg is a bit more difficult as the trail gets steeper but it’s well worth the view at the top. Make sure to get in early, since the parking area is small and fills up quick.
The hike was beautiful! Giving four stars only to let people know that it is a bit of an intense hike. It is definitely worth the view in my opinion but know that there are quite a few steep inclines. I wouldn’t consider it a beginner hike, more of an intermediate hiker level.
