(from Google)So we came to this location bc my cousin told me about this area that she learned about when she went to MTSU, the hotel ladies got us an address to go off of, upon arrival we asked a local where was the "baby waterfall...." and we went right to it. Families were relaxing and in the water. My daughter found some shells and thought it was the greatest thing. As we were leaving we discovered a skeleton, crazy because daughter is currently attending a CSI weekly summer camp and they "uncovered/dug up" a human skeleton body yesterday so she got a stick and "investigated.'
After heavy rain the “waterfall” was moving quickly and looked gorgeous. Only issue is that to access these side areas off the main path, you’re on slippery rock/mud. We were in flip flops and were not adequately prepared for safely venturing out there.
The trailhead is beautiful and Ransom Mill Falls are as well! Not too crowded and plenty of parking
Today was perfect weather for a walk. Found this cute duck family bathing and playing in the water.
Beautiful Instantly! Not 1 minute walk on trail, there's a beautiful opening with mini waterfalls. Multiple trails leading to the perfect (drop-a-line) and see if you catch. Serene Nature! With arriving 30 min before dark, that's as far down the trail I went.
