Dunedin/Honeymoon Island Jetski Beach

They really killed the attendance and popularity of this causeway. Launching jet skis is prohibited and they closed a big portion of the south side beach to cars. The magic and ambiance is gone. It is a pity. 🙁

We've launched here a few times last year and once this year! Absolutely love this beach! Can't wait to launch there next Friday and Saturday!!

Nice area to watch the sunset. Great for the kids. There are parts where you can park right next to the water. Public restrooms. Walk/bike path and a beautiful view. Plenty of room to stay 6ft apart from Others. Palm trees to hang hammocks on.

I went to the causeway for sunset and it didn't disappoint. The sunset was pretty and the ocean breeze is nice. It can be hard to find a spot, so come early with some chairs or a hammock. Sit back and relax.

5 stars for the right mix of beauty, practicality, function and convenience. Park on the sand right on the water, catch crabs and cook them right there. Nice sunset views. Walking/bike path right there too. Strong smell of seaweed/bay due to lots of sea life and seaweed on the shore here (seen in pictures).
