Great place if you can find parking. TBH, that's the only downside to this place. My wife and I took our dogs to swim and we definitely had a great time. Looking forward to bringing our paddleboard and kayaks!

This is one of my favorite off leash dog parks. My dog loves running freely and jumping into the water. She's had plenty of positive interactions with other dogs. It's not a long hike but you can do a couple rounds if you'd like a longer walk. The only downfall is parking. It can be pretty difficult to find parking and sometimes there's already a line waiting to park which is why I gave it a four ⭐.

Gorgeous park. It’s off leash for dogs, there are no restrooms just btw. The lake is beautiful, we took a paddleboard and kayak out here for a nice Sunday afternoon.

Magical place. But two stars because every year, there's dogs that die from swimming in the water because it has algae blooms. I think a couple people have died because of it as well. Also, there is only about 16 parking spots and no side roads or anywhere else to park anywhere near. So most of the time you have to wait in line for parking (respect the line or your car might not be in the same condition when you get back) Often waiting like 45 minutes or more. And just like most of the parks in Austin, there's about a 1 in 4 chance your car will get broken into. The fishing is slow, most days you just get skunked but there are some whoppers out here, just have to be patient.

Went on Blk Friday. Almost could not find parking but waiting in the middle paid off getting a parking spot. No restrooms and dogs were able to roam leash free. I have been ticketed in the past for not having leashes on my toy breed dogs before. People were fishing and my dogs got mad they did not give the fish to them. They begged people for treats because it works sometimes even though I feed them well. One of my dogs tried to abandon me and find a new family. I guess she thought they looked kind. Came to see autumn leaves. May look nice for 1 more week but lot of the leaves fell off. Prob very hard to find parking on a weekend.
