My daughter is autistic and she has a fascination for reptiles. The staff was very friendly and allowed me and my daughter to just look around. The store was clean and the reptiles looked healthy. Thank you for being so kind, especially on our last day in Colorado. Hope to visit again soon.

So I've only been to this location a few times but you can always tell the quality of a store by how they respond to customer service. Don took excellent care of me on fixing my fountain issue. Thank you Don. I went ahead and spent a few more bucks on tank decor. They have a great selection of critters for any taste, spiders turtles, snakes and lizards. My python was so excited about his new enclosure he didn't want to eat.

It looks cool but the reptiles aren’t fed. The bearded dragons were skinny. There was a dead baby bearded dragon in the cage when we were there. They got rid of it before we could take a pic

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Scales and Tales, and I can’t recommend it enough! Max and Don are truly standout employees who made my experience delightful. Both Max and Don demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about reptiles and insects. They took the time to answer all of my questions, no matter how trivial they may have seemed, which made me feel valued. Their friendly and welcoming attitudes created a positive atmosphere. They were incredibly attentive and patient, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my visit. The level of customer service provided by Max and Don is unparalleled. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers and are passionate about sharing their expertise. On top of their professional qualities, I must add that they are both very approachable, good looking and friendly individuals. I won’t be visiting any other shop besides this particular Scales and Tales in the future unless they change employees. If you’re looking for knowledgeable staff and exceptional service, this is the place to go!
