Palmdale Veterinary Hospital

I just had an overall excellent experience at Palmdale Vet Hospital. Dr. McEwen saw 2 of my kitties. He is so so so knowledgeable, kind, professional, and I could so easily tell he is vet because he truly cares about animals, and is not in it to make $$ off anyone. He does not have one do things your pet really does not need. So lovely a human being and a vet. Exceptional. As for his staff, first, the front desk also was so kind, helpful, so accommodating beyond words, I was totally impressed. I thought wow, a lot of the previous reviews I read about this place were so right on. His assistants were very gentle and loving to my pets, and very helpful. I actually honestly thought I was going to walk out with a very high bill, but the price of seeing a vet was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Dr. McEwen to anyone and everyone, as well as the Palmdale Veterinary Hospital in general. I have absolutely no complaints.

My daughter recently found an abandoned feral puppy (about 10 weeks old). The puppy was malnourished and covered in fleas and ticks. My daughter contacted Palmdale Vet hospital and was able to get an appointment within 48 hours for a checkup and start its vaccinations and deworming. The staff was friendly and professional.

We have been coming here for years and have always been loyal to Dr. McEwen. He has been amazing with our furry family members over the years. This visit we saw Dr. Harvey, and he was just as kind, gentle, and thorough. He took the time to make us feel heard and cared for, and treated our pet with such compassion. We are so grateful to have this level of veterinary care here in the Antelope Valley. Highly recommend!

My furbabies have always been well cared for here. Dr. Lee, Harvey, and Wang have all been professional, compassionate and sincere in their care. Here, treatment options are discussed and there is sincerity about what can and can not be done. When my family had to say good-bye to our beloved baby, the staff were so very caring and sensitive to our grief and to the comfort of our baby in her last minutes. I'm very happy with this veterinarian. Everyone was so kind, and very concerned about my pets Buddy & Shug health. They was very gentle with my pets.
