Buddy Calk Trailhead

We love to ride our bikes on any of San Antonios plentiful trails. This park is particularly good if you want to do BMX riding. But, for the paved trail rider like us, it's also good. The paved trails are wide, which is great. It winds along by a pretty pond where you will see ducks, a great picture spot! There is a playground, and the bathroom I saw was a porta potty, I guess that's better then none. They were clean and stocked. There is plenty of parking too.

Beautiful shady trail. Visited after it rained and Leon Creek had water! Had not seen it with water in years!

The pond here is stocked but it gets cleared out quickly. Great spot to kick back with some friends, though.

Dirty discarded sofa, cushions and electric lawn mower sitting on a trail behind a home where the sidewalk makes a "T". Turn left on dirt trail then 500 yards on the right. Ugh! 😠 Submitted 311 online form to SA Parks to get it cleaned up. These are your parks people, take care of it!

Nice clean trails. Perfect for walks or riding your bike. Some wild life in the area. The deer a curious about you and won't run off as long as you don't get too close or make too much noise.
