Dr. Jim and staff are THE BEST! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes time with each patient, carefully explaining each diagnosis and treatment.

I was scheduled to take my 14 yr old dog, Desiel to Blue Pearl for internal medicine because Banfield vets couldn't figure out what was wrong with him for over 3 yrs. My hygienist recommended to go to Vetria instead. I gave Vetria a shot and thank God. They figured out what was wrong with him on the first visit. He had surgery to remove a tumor the size of a large jaw breaker. It was on his parathyroid. He saved his life, amazing and affordable. Doctor is the best, he explains everything in detail and really cares about your pet.

Writing this review from my car in the parking lot after our appointment because we had SUCH a great experience that I can’t wait until I get home. I’ve lived in Tampa for 3 years and have yet to find a vet that I liked enough to go back to, and we’ve tried many. I met some of their employees at the Tampa pride parade this year and kept a business card on my fridge. Today we came in for allergy treatment because my dog has been scratching like crazy. They were able to get me a next-day appointment and gave plenty of reminders. When we got here, the staff was super cordial and friendly. The vet came out and spoke to me incredibly thoroughly about all of the possibilities, the signs and symptoms, treatment options, and answered every question I had. He was clearly incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. I did not have that weird feeling that I get with some vets where it feels that they’re just throwing solutions at the problem to see what sticks without regard for cost and pet’s health. He was very candid and discerning about what was necessary be recommended vs unnecessary. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other vets. My dog was very nervous but everyone in the clinic was so warm and friendly that he was much calmer when he came out than when they first took him back! I’m so happy to have found a vet that we love. I will absolutely be back to Vetria and will be recommending them to all my friends with pets!

Dr. Jim And his team have practically raised my two Yorkshire terriers. They’ve been going to Vetria since they were both pups and I have to say from the bottom of my heart I wouldn’t have it any other way. Dr. Jim is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but his calm and delicate approach makes receiving any news much less scary. The office is such a soothing vibe for both me and my babies and we always know we are receiving the best care and that we are in the best hands, whether it be general check ups, dental visits, or anything in between. I truly love and appreciate our vet and his team for all they’ve done and continue to do for our fur babies.

They didn’t waste time, and that made all the difference. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. Dr. Jim did a fantastic job with the surgery, and we could instantly tell our girl was in good hands. Thanks to their quick action and excellent care, our baby is now on her way to a strong recovery. We’re beyond thankful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vetria to anyone who truly wants the best for their pet.
