Mud Bay

Mud Bay is a great place to shop for all your pets needs. The staff are always so knowledgeable! I wish I could remember who from the store helped me last Thursday, because she was so kind and sweet and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She also shared some great tips on different games I can play with my high energy dog. Thank you to this staff member for your great customer service!

The ladies at Mud Bay are fantastic! My sweet baby Dookie has been having digestive issues since she was adopted a few months back, hence her namesake. I came in and they recommended some probiotics and some pumpkin supplements and bada-bing bada-boom, nearly over night she's having a firmer deuce than my grandma Gigi after eating an entire brick of the sharpest cheddar, and more energy than a frat party at a rave!

Wendy the manager is probably the most impressive person I’ve met in our pet industry. Passion, wisdom, and authentic kindness come to mind. Her staff exudes this energy/talent as well. Adding mind bogglingly reasonable prices and perfect selection makes this Lucius’, Joey’s and my FAVORITE business in Bend! Cheers and don’t be West Sidey when you go there. 😬🥺✊🏻

All time best pet store! I was recently traveling through Bend and stopped at Mud Bay to get a harness for the new pup I had just rescued and he got away from me outside the store and ran off. The team at Mud Bay were truly incredible helping find my new pup, Timber. When I came back in the store and told them my puppy just ran off they instantly grabbed a new leash, harness, and a huge bag of treats to help with my search. 🥹 Several teams members came out looking for Timber, they made flyers, came back after work and searched more! They also came back and searched in the morning as well!!!❤️❤️❤️ Good news, we found Timber the next day. They went so far above and beyond to help find Timber that I am forever grateful. 🙏🙏🙏 5⭐️ isn’t enough for how amazing everyone was. I chose to go to Mud Bay because that was my favorite pet store when I lived in Seattle so I knew they were awesome but couldn’t even imagine the kindness that this store showed me during such a stressful time. Thank you so much to the staff and for Mud Bay for having such a dedicated team. I was blown away by the kindest and support from the Bend community. 🙏🙏🙏

The Good- The people here are always sweet and helpful. Also, they have tons of informative in-store displays (see photos) to help you select food and toy options. If you are serious about quality products and an amazing return policy, this is your pet store. The Bad- It's spendy but comparison to competitors. The Tip- The litter bar.(see photo) is an option you may not think of - but if ambience is important to you, smell is too. This bar allows you to select based on various product types to match you cats' needs and combat specific smells.
