(from Google)I am so disappointed with the service I received from this store. I have been coming here for years and have always been treated with respect. My visit the other day was anything but. The young lady walked by three times and I was never greeted or offered assistance. When I asked for assistance she was nonchalant and made me feel like I inconvenienced her. Her response to my losing my pet was less than compassionate and uncaring. Not only that if you’re not concerned with people and their animals and their issues maybe that’s not the profession for you. Nothing against the other workers in the store Michelle is still awesome as well as the guy who always converses with me about my fish. Maybe they will help her to work on her professionalism I don’t know her name because when I looked for a name tag there wasn’t one.
I am an experienced guinea pig owner, I’ve adopted several over the years and when I purchased two supposed males from here, there were a few problems. First of all, they did not give me two males, they gave me a male and female. Second, after only 1 month one died due to some illness that could not be identified. It caused seizures, treatment at the vet couldn’t even identify what was going on with him. I then decided to purchase another from this establishment as I didn’t want my female to get lonely. I know they say they only sell males so when I went in I asked if I could ensure the gender of the guinea pig before purchasing in hopes they might have a female. They refused and said it was “against policy” and that they “couldn’t guarantee the sex” which is fine but since I am the one adopting and caring for the guinea pig I deserve to be able to ensure the gender to make sure there are no unwanted pregnancies. No surprise the second guinea pig ended up passing from the same illness the other one did. $750 in vet bills and at least $500 in supplies and medications just for me to end up heartbroken when both guinea pigs passed. This establishment is junk, almost worse than Aquarama, the staff are rude, inexperienced, and they sell sick or genetically inferior animals. Since then I have healthy girls from Petsmart on Ramsay.
My #1 pick of pet store. Been going here loyally for years for my snake's feeder mice as well as treats, toys and food for my cats. They always have a broad selection of high quality (and veterinary recommended) products for all sorts of pets ranging from dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, rats, hamsters, snakes, lizards, crabs, turtles and of course fish. I love it when they host adoption events for cats and dogs as well. You can truly tell they care about animals.
I found everything I was looking for in this store for my fish aquarium. They have a great variety of fish and at great prices. The store is big, it is clean and organized, and the associates were friendly.
The employees (especially Michelle!!!) are the sweetest and most caring. They love the pets they sell and the pets that visit. They give tips and information about my pet. They really care and take the time to talk to the customers to find the needs. It’s a quick in and out because of its location. This past week I needed fish. They carefully prepared my fish then helped me find treats for my cat. Amazing people. They also helped me decide on the best hat for my dog 😂.
