Absolutely adore this pet store

I absolutely love this Petco. I like how it's smaller and easier to navigate than a bigger pet store yet has everything I need. I always find cute things for my cat and ways to make her life more cozy and interesting. The people who work here are really helpful and nice too!!

I've shopped this location about 10 times. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the selection of dog food, toys and treats is extensive. My dog is always happy when we shop here!

Ordered online for pickup. Was very quick and easy, staff was super friendly! This is the only place in Portland I can get my dog's food! Very happy they continue to stock it. Taste of the wild and Unleashed by Petco for the win!

UPDATED 10/1/25 MY dog Leo has had a terrible reaction for the 3 days following the vaccination. Unfortunately without a deposit I am unable to have Leo treated at Doug Lewis, the vet nearest to me per the vaccination aftercare instructions. I'm EXTREMELY worried about my senior dog. The aftercare instructions say to " NOT BRING HIM BACK TO VETCO". I'm calling vetco today HOPING they'll see Leo and provide badly needed vaccination aftercare. ------------------------ 9/28/25 Leo the Dog vaccinated here this morning.. Exceptional service. Very professional, caring, gentle, and well educated. Highly Recommended. Leo was treated with respect and love. Given treats. During the visit Leo's toy disappeared Doh), and staff comp'd us a new one! Plus DISCOUNTED TOUGH TOYS, perfect for big dogs. Sunday morning, so parking was plentiful.
