Thought this would be a nice place to introduce my young sons to hiking, trail started out ok but became overgrown single track, and at one point the strawberry Creek trail was completely overgrown causing us to turn around. The boys hated the grass touching them as much of it was face height for them. Parents didn't care much for the bushwhacking involved. I hope my kids will give hiking another chance.

Very overgrown in some areas. Wasn't sure i was on the trail until I saw a marker post. Needs to be maintained a little bit.

A fairly rugged hike close to town. I'd recommend wearing pants and bug spray during the warm season. It's a great place to see a wide diversity of wildlife, especially the insects and fungi. Expect invasive plants, especially at the beginning, but the floral diversity gets better the further you hike! Have fun exploring!

We really liked this place. You'll get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Loved looking at all of the animal tracks. I rated it 4 ☆s because the trails lacks in some trail markers. It can be difficult to know which way to go in certain areas. When you get to those areas, it's an explore freely type of deal or turn around. And there's a lot of litter in some areas(watch out for broken glass). I would go return again though. We like to free explore anyway.
