(from Google)Great connecting path and very smooth. Roccomend for boarding or roller skates. Has trash cans along the route. Connect to fern ridge trail as well.
This place is nick named. "the pitts" for as long as i can reme.ber but its got bike path trails and several small ponds where birds and ducks like to hang out. A guy caught a big bass here today. Nice place to take a walk or walk ur dog. Or just people watch . Very peaceful.
I love the path as it runs along the edge of Golden Gardens Park and further connects my neighborhood to the beltline bike path and to work and downtown if needed. The whole path is lighted, much of it by solar powered LED's
I've been going to these ponds since I was 6 years old. This is the first place I went fishing. My best friend died here when I was 10. I smoked my first cigarette here. I saw most of my first natural experiences here. I caught tadpoles and crawdads with friends, many who are not alive today. When I played in the inlet creek and when I came here as a youth, it was pretty dumpy. The restoration of this place brings tears to my eyes. Going here and remembering all the good and the sad- I'm shook that it's such a beautiful place, vibrant with diverse plant life and wildlife. It's come a long long way! I'm proud of my city for taking care of it!
Good trail for jogging or dogs. Not ok for kids to swim or dogs to drink. Fishing can be enjoyed at the correct hours between 3 ponds. Is patrolled by odfw. Bass, carp, cat fish small game but ego boost.
