TVA Trail Access

Cons: No bathrooms, hiking time might be short for most people (personally, I like short loops that I can continue walking through) Pro: Has an area for forest hiking PLUS an open play area. The hills would be great for sledding later in winter. Almost never any people there, so it's peaceful.

It opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset. I definitely recommend this for any runner, especially beginners. I'm a powerlifter who hasn't run much in the past year due to a back injury, and today was my first day running a trail. It is absolutely beautiful and well kept up trail. The first Incline is a bit steep and not easy on the feet. So I'd recommend you have hiking or running shoes on for this trail. If you're walking at a decent pace, it'll take 10 to 15 minutes, and if you're running, maybe 5 to 10, depending on your skill level. All and all a great trail, I highly recommend it.👌

Another area for hiking.

Not the perfect place for a long walk, but walking friendly paths with some mild grades to get the heart rate up. Probably good for interval training if you're running.
