This path runs for like over 45 miles. It seems to run right along the jordan River and lots of people can been seen running, walking and biking it. It has several areas that cross over the river to give in some differences. Lots of trees along the way to as well as benches along the way.

As a runner, I’m always looking to help find trails for other visitors wanting to go running, biking, or hiking. This is a great trail for anyone visiting in SLC region looking for a nice, easy, paved pathway. Gorgeous views of the mountains. Very little elevation change. Paved throughout the trail. Bridges for river and canal crossings. Mile markers posted. Benches scattered throughout the trail for when you need a rest. Tunnels for safe road crossings Very little shade, so morning and evening runs recommended. There is enough trail here to park and run a few miles or run 20 miles. Parking - for this site you have to park in a commercial parking area and walk a small dirt path onto the paved trail. This particular marked point is not a true trail parking lot. There is one a little further north, about a mile, on the west side of the river.

Not too busy or crowded. Well built and pretty quiet. Great for strollers, bikes and dog walkers.

I have been using this trail to get to and from the gym from work and I love it. It is quiet and safe feeling with great views of the mountains as you walk. Plenty of foot traffic without ever being crowded.
