You get what you paid for! Buyer beware!! I took my dog to Chattaneuter a year ago and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made pet wise. Listen to me!!!!, If you love your animal, spend more money and take them somewhere else. So here is my story... I had my dog spayed and her hernia fixed over a year ago at Chattaneuter. I had them both done at the same time, Spay and a hernia repair. After she was done with her surgery, we picked her up and brought her home. After about a week or two her anal glands went crazy on us and she started to produce a lot of liquid that stunk from her butt. We called them(Chattaneuter) and told them several times what was going on with her. They just acted as if it wasn’t there issue and they didn’t see a problem with it or her. Since the surgery, and since they didn’t help or offer to help at all, we have had to take our dog to two other vets spending lots of money on her well being. The other vets say there is nothing they can do for her. If they do surgery on her to fix her anal gland smell, the surgery may kill her, so They will Not touch her! Seems Chattaneuter messed her sphincter up while repairing her hernia! Or that’s my feeling and the other vet’s feelings. She was absolutely fine until she went to Chattaneuter, and now she is not well. She now produces Anal gland juice constantly… Now, we have to squeeze her anal glands almost daily. Every other day we definitely have to squeeze her. We give her anal gland medicine twice a day, and pumpkin, apples to make her poops bigger. Nothing will help, nothing has helped. It’s just plan sad! We can’t leave her out when we leave our home, she has to be caged because she will destroy our house with a horrible smell if left out. Her smell stinks the house up regularly. She gets the smell on us, It’s a dang shame. She’s such a sweet girl. It’s not her fault she smells now at under 2 years old. It’s completely pitiful. She’s pitiful now, and so was the surgery she got from Chattaneuter. If your dog has a hernia, I’d recommend taken them somewhere else to get it fixed. Bad thing is Chattaneuter won’t even talk to you about the issue or help. They will not admit what they did or say “hey maybe we did make a mistake.” Like I said, you get what you paid for. Take care and God bless.

They did an awesome job caring for my sweet girl. She ended up being pregnant having 10 puppies inside of her they only charged me 21 to remove the puppies as we cant have puppies or any more animals in our current living situation. Thank you to the wonderful staff that took great care of my Luka ;) she's recovering nicely

They have spayed three of my cats and handled them so well. They took care of us and the price was affordable. Thanks for making sure my babies stayed safe! Surgery and aftercare was a breeze.

I’ve taken all of my pets to Chattaneuter for their spay and neuter needs, and they are amazing! My pets are always well taken care of, the staff is wonderful, and the costs are very reasonable. Every one of my pets has healed quickly, and I have always had a great experience.

For a low cost solution, chattaneuter is the place. About the only difference from the high dollar folks, is a follow-up call. They were available for questions. That is plenty good for me. Minimal extra charge for postoperative necessities, collar, meds etc. They did such a great job Willow never needed the shame-collar (sorry to disobey). We watched her basically 24/7 she never looked at the incision. It didn't even itch her when the healing itch had to have started. The incision looks great, she's not even worried about a scar. I don't know if she even realizes something happened. Chattaneuters good care and surgical technique definitely helped ease our postop convalescence with willow and our two cats. We had two cats done a couple years ago, they were great then. I will say; this visit every single staff member i encountered couldn't have been kinder. The overall attitude of the office was cheerful, helpfull, & professional. Highly recommended, there are some strict rules (to ensure a smooth operation) but it is most definitely worth it. They have this thing down-pat.
