I was told by 2 different vets (one didn't even actually SEE my cat) that she was in heart failure. My original vet sent me to Blue Pearl for an evaluation on her. I am soooo glad that I went there! After meeting the cardiologist, Dr. Merrick Fultz, all of my anxiety went out the door! He was confident, precise, detail oriented, and very clear in his description of how some issues may appear to be something very different. That was the case with my cat, Lily. She is NOT in heart failure but does have some respitory issues, which can be handled with medication. I loved Dr. Fultz's bedside manner and his communication with me. I will be forever grateful to him for caring enough about my sweet girl, to dig deeper and find out what the truth really was, with her health. Do not hesitate to go to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital for a professional evaluation, from a SPECIALIST, if you have any questions at all about a diognosis from your vet. It's worth the piece of mind, to get a second opinion from these specially trained Dr.s in thier feild. I can't say enough great things about this place and Dr Merrick Fultz. We are forever grateful for the team at Bluepearl for saving our boy, Benzo’s, life. After arriving in critical condition, they had him in the back and treated within minutes. Problems arose but they were able to stabilize him quickly and on his way for emergency surgery. It was the best feeling to be able to come back to visit him and see him full of life again. We just got home after his 2 day stay and he is as if he never left. Thank you for taking care of our kitty and giving us more time with him. ❤️

I was referred here because my Maltese, KB, had injured his eye. KB was met by a friendly front desk staff which put me at ease as well as KB. A vet tech, Priscilla, came and introduced herself and led us to an examination room where we were met by Dr Stephanie Lo, the opthalmalogist. She took KB for testing and returned with KB's diagnosis and treatment options for surgery or trying medication and eye drops many times a day. We chose the medication route. He has seen her several times now and will follow up with her in 6 months. Dr Lo and everyone we've met there at Blue Pearl in Clearwater as been phenomenal. I truly thank Dr Lo for her expertise, support and down to earth personality. Truly the best of the best!

Blue Pearl is such a great place for your pet’s care. All the staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is spotless. Dr. Fultz, the cardiologist couldn’t have been better. He spent time a lot of time with us, answered all our questions, and explained everything. I could tell he genuinely cared for my little Callie and he was positive and encouraging. I highly recommend him if your pet needs attention to their heart. Such a positive experience which helps so much at a stressful time.

My dog has had 3 types of cancer since 3 and is now 10. She lost a leg to cancer as well. But she has always lived her best life thanks to Blue Pearl and her Specialist Vets at Port City and PVESVC in New England. The surgeon, Dr. Human at Blue Pearl has been top quality. The oncology team along with Dr. Coyle are spectacular, professional and loving. Momo recently needed an Internist and Blue Pearl answered the call. I am impressed by their completeness and knowledge and especially their love for my Momo. You would never guess my dog is 10 and especially not think she has cancer. She does it all on 3 legs and takes no medications. Worth the cost for sure. No regrets!
