Dr Doyle and her team were truly the best case scenario for receiving less than good news on our senior pup. We never felt like we were forgotten about during their busy Saturday and when multiple other offices had no room for us the reception was immediate and made our concerns feel heard. It is really hard to find a team from front to back that all shows care for your pet. Ours is hairless and our baby was offered an additional blankie while waiting in their backend exam area. I wish we could have met them on less teary eyed terms but everyone made us feel like this was a safe place to be at our most vulnerable. There was never a time we were not informed about what was currently going on and explained simple enough and in detail so we could understand our options. They helped us break down the costs and different treatment plans and went over what options of each plan we could do. If you are on the fence on where to go for urgent or emergent care this is the place.

This staff is amazing. From the moment I walked in with our sick 15 yr old dog Skip, I felt they really cared. The vet was kind, thorough and kept me informed of everything she was doing. It’s common in an urgent care to have a long wait, but I was offered a drink and they came in often to see how we were doing. I was impressed. Cannot say if it was reasonable or overpriced because my Skip had X-rays, blood drawn, ringers lactate for dehydraton and came home with many meds. Thank you for a great experience in a stressful time. BTW a man gave up his appointment time to me so my pup could get in earlier. You don’t see that very often. Thank you sir!

Sometimes the unexpected happens to your pet. We love our babies as much as we love our children. This urgent Care facility loved my baby too. They took great care of my Poodle and never once stopped helping him to get better. They are HONEST, COMPASIONATE , UNDERSTANDING and MOST OF ALL CARRING. We did NOT feel like we were in a revolving door. We were made to feel as if we were just as important and any other animal. We recommend this facility because it is close and convenient.

We had a great experience at Livewell Animal Urgent Care in Colorado Springs. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive to both us and our pet, Milo, and they were able to get us in very quickly. They ran thorough tests and clearly explained everything, which led to identifying two ulcers in Milo’s eye. The team immediately put together a treatment plan and made sure we understood the next steps before we left. It was reassuring to feel heard and cared for during a stressful situation. I would highly recommend Livewell Animal Urgent Care to anyone looking for compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable veterinary care.

Our cat is crazy about peanuts and decided to swallow an almond whole and create a blockage in his intestinal tract. Of course, things got critical on Sunday morning when options were limited. Took him down to Livewell first thing Sunday morning, they verified the blockage and he was having his emergency surgery by 3:00. By 7:00 we were picking him up and bringing him back home. This place is amazing and so are the people. They made everything very clear as for what needed to be done and the costs. They were kind and considerate before and after the surgery. A lot of places now try to upsell you. More medications, more time holding the animal at additional costs, etc. This place didn’t do that at all, which was great! This place is a great find and if you have an emergency you must go here! We have a lot of high maintenance animals and been to many of the popular emergency vets, and none are as honest as this place. The first 24hrs were difficult but he has been recovering really well. He basically just sleeps on the blanket in front of the fireplace. They did an excellent job and now at about 1 week after this major surgery he is nearly back to normal. He still has a long recovery to go, but the work done has been flawless and it shows with how well the cat is doing. The honesty, clear communication and integrity of the people here are the best you’re going to find. Thanks again for the incredible work to our cat that we love so much! Another note- we also have a small dog and she got injured on a Sunday as well about a year ago. They quickly diagnosed her, told us what to do and had us out the door within an hour with only a $100 charge. As I said, very fair and honest people here.
