I had a really bad experience with Eastwood Animal Clinic. I took my German Shepherd to Sammy Gibson last month and I was treated horribly. I paid over $500 and all this rude vet did was continue to try to run more and more tests on my dog. He knew from the get go that my dog had pyometra yet he continued to have his assistant come in to let us know they wanted to take additional x-rays and ultrasounds just to make sure. The bill kept rising higher and higher. This clinic runs too many tests on their patients just so they can rack up your pet's bill and make some extra cash. They will definitely take advantage of your situation so be careful. Sammy Gibson is extremely rude and has a God Complex. He wouldn't allow my relative or I to ask any questions about my dog's condition. He would put his hand up almost in our face and say "HOLD ON! LET ME FINISH!!" We were under so much pressure seeing our dog suffer and to our dismay he showed ZERO empathy or compassion. Paying $500+ to be scolded for trying to ask questions about our dog's illness is wrong man! We let him finish explaining our dog's diagnosis and then he immediately cut us off after a couple questions and let us know we could talk to the vet tech. It was a living nightmare at Eastwood Animal Clinic. To top it all off, they didn't even want to e-mail me the x-rays that I paid hundreds of dollars for and had me take pictures from my phone KNOWING that this was critical and my dogs condition could be fatal. My dog underwent emergency surgery with another vet the next day and they had to retake the x-rays as well. The x-ray angles were way off they said. Taking your dog to the vet should NOT be this scary. I was considering taking her for a follow-up but I literally got super stressed just remembering how badly my family and I were treated. I didn't want to have to go through that again and I would NEVER in a million years take another one of my animals to this money hungry veterinary practice! I put it into prayer and fortunately found a veterinary clinic that really made my family and my dog feel welcome and in good hands. To my surprise, they treated my family and my dog with the utmost kindness and compassion (something that Eastwood Animal Clinic lacks) and most importantly they answered all the questions we had. I just wish Eastwood Animal Clinic would stop sending me e-mail offers and advertisements and maybe send me an e-mail asking how my dog's doing?!?

I have been taking my pets here since 2013, I love it here I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and they have all been well attended by both Dr. Gibson and Dr. Sammy Gibson. I had to take my 16 year old shitzu yesterday and today because he had a decline in health. And their team were compassionate, understanding and helped me feel at ease. They made my baby feel comfortable and better he is an elderly dog and there's only so much that can be done, they were honest with me gave me options to try and kept searching for a better solution for his well being. I am Grateful to everyone for being so awesome. THANK YOU😊🙏

Brought Angel in for their boarding services and I could tell she loved the crew. She was comfortable since drop off which was a new one for her being such a nervous dog. They are very attentive to your dogs behavior/needs under their care providing extra care options to make their stay more plesant if need be. Definitely recommend their services. Thanks for taking great care of my cuddle bug.

I always enjoy coming here even though my cat might not 🤣🤣 the staff is so kind, explains everything thoroughly and gives options so that the cost of care can be affordable based on the situation. I really appreciate Dr. Gibson's manner and how easy he is to work with! Thanks for taking such good care of our pets.
